Micro-Yoga Studio in Victoria

Please join me for small yoga classes and private sessions at my Chinatown loft studio, Victoria, Vancouver Island, B.C.  Small class size means you receive personalized instruction, and space. Teaching is based in sound biomechanics and exercise science. I take a pragmatic and scientific approach while  honouring the holistic experience of yoga. The result is a unique yoga experience where your body remembers alignment, and you gain strength and flexibility safely and efficiently. 


Yoga should feel yummy, free of pain. Youthful health and well-being flows naturally into our experience when we align our mind, body and heart. As your body gains strength, flexibility, and balance, life presents opportunities for recognition and connection with the wholeness within ourselves. Okay, here's the first of my instructional video series, and a great one for runners and other active folk. The front of the hips and thighs are tight on many of us. The following posture demo, Supta Virasana modification, is a very accessible stretch that will alleviate tightness through the quads and hip flexors. Remember, press toes down, squeeze ankle in, tow knee to centre throughout! Let me know how it goes!
If you would like to see more instructional videos please email me. I am happy to periodically send some helpful yoga tips, videos, and occasional updates on workshops and classes. You won't hear from me much -perhaps once a month or so... and I'll do my best to make the information useful to you.
